A Romantic Garden Wedding Ceremony
Ashton and Carter’s ceremony at The Nest at Ruth Farms was designed to feel abundant, romantic, and naturally gathered. Lush garden-style wedding flowers lined the chapel aisle in soft shades of blush, peach, ivory, and blue, creating a floral pathway that led beautifully toward the altar.
Throughout the ceremony design, layers of garden roses, hydrangea, delicate seasonal blooms, fresh greenery, and textural flowers created movement and dimension. Rather than repeating identical arrangements, each floral piece was designed with subtle variation, giving the aisle the organic feeling of a garden unfolding throughout the chapel.
At the altar, elevated floral arrangements brought height and balance to the light-filled ceremony space while allowing the architecture of The Nest at Ruth Farms to remain part of the design. The result was a ceremony that felt abundant yet refined—a reflection of Vella Nest Floral Design’s European-inspired garden style.
Soft Blush, Buttercream Yellow & Blue Wedding Flowers
Ashton and Carter’s wedding flowers were designed around a soft, romantic palette of blush pink, buttercream yellow, delicate blue, and creamy ivory. Against the bright white interior of The Nest at Ruth Farms, the gentle color palette brought warmth and dimension to the ceremony while maintaining a refined, garden-inspired aesthetic.
Garden roses, roses, hydrangea, and delicate seasonal blooms were layered with fresh greenery and airy botanical textures throughout the ceremony. The soft blue accents created a beautiful contrast against the blush and buttercream tones, while the varied shapes and heights of the flowers gave the design a naturally gathered feeling.
From the floral-lined aisle to the elevated altar arrangements and Ashton’s bridal bouquet, each element carried the same palette and organic movement, creating a cohesive floral story throughout the ceremony.
An Elegant Garden-Inspired Reception
Inside the reception space at The Nest at Ruth Farms, Ashton and Carter’s floral design continued the romantic garden aesthetic of their ceremony while taking on a softer, more intimate feeling.
Long reception tables were layered with low garden-style floral arrangements in soft blush, buttercream yellow, creamy ivory, and delicate blue. Clear glass candlelight and slender taper candles were woven between the flowers, adding warmth while allowing the floral palette to remain the focal point.
Rather than creating identical centerpieces throughout the room, the reception featured a mix of floral compositions and elevated arrangements, bringing variation in height and dimension to the light-filled space. The airy white interior provided a beautiful backdrop for the color and botanical texture of the flowers.
Every detail—from the softly gathered centerpieces to the candlelight and layered tablescape—was designed to feel connected to the ceremony while creating an elegant, garden-inspired reception that felt romantic, refined, and naturally abundant.
Statement Florals for the Head Table
One of our favorite floral moments of the celebration was the couple’s head table. Designed as a focal point within the reception, an abundant floral installation flowed across the front and side of the table, creating the feeling of flowers growing naturally around it.
Layers of hydrangea, garden roses, roses, and delicate textural blooms brought softness, movement, and dimension while continuing the blush, peach, and ivory palette seen throughout the wedding.
Rather than treating the head table as a separate design moment, we wanted it to feel connected to the entire celebration—from the garden-inspired ceremony aisle and floral arch to the reception centerpieces.
