Taylor & Trevor’s Colorful Garden Wedding at the Dallas Arboretum
There is something especially beautiful about designing a wedding in a garden—where the florals don’t simply decorate the space, but feel as though they belong there.
For Taylor and Trevor’s wedding at the Dallas Arboretum, we created a floral story filled with color, movement, and layers of garden-inspired texture. Soft blush and peach mingled with coral, butter yellow, touches of blue, creamy white, and abundant greenery, creating a palette that felt joyful and romantic while beautifully complementing the surrounding gardens.
From Taylor’s bouquet and the flower-lined ceremony aisle to an abundant floral arch and a candlelit reception filled with flowers, every detail was designed to carry the feeling of the garden throughout the celebration.

A Romantic Garden Ceremony at the Dallas Arboretum
The Dallas Arboretum provided an extraordinary natural backdrop for Taylor and Trevor’s outdoor ceremony.
Rather than competing with the landscape, we designed the florals to feel like an extension of it.
Garden-style floral arrangements lined the aisle, creating a pathway of blooms leading toward a lush floral arch. Hydrangea, roses, ranunculus and delicate textural flowers were layered with greenery in shades of peach, coral, blush, yellow, soft blue and ivory.
The result was intentionally organic—abundant without feeling overly structured.
Against the manicured hedges and architectural elements of the garden, the colorful flowers brought softness and movement to the ceremony while allowing the beauty of the Dallas Arboretum to remain part of the design.

Taylor’s Garden-Inspired Bridal Bouquet
Taylor’s bouquet brought the entire floral palette together on a more intimate scale.
Designed in Vella Nest’s signature garden-inspired style, the bouquet featured romantic garden roses, ranunculus, hydrangea and delicate seasonal blooms in soft yellow, peach, coral, blush, ivory and blue.
Loose greenery and trailing elements created natural movement, giving the bouquet the feeling of flowers freshly gathered from a European garden.
The bridesmaids carried smaller, airy bouquets that complemented their mix of blue floral and solid dresses rather than competing with them—a detail we especially loved.

Bringing the Garden Indoors
One of our favorite elements of this wedding was the transition from the outdoor ceremony into the reception.
We wanted guests to feel as though they had never truly left the garden.
Inside, floral-patterned linens created the foundation for long tables filled with layered garden arrangements. Flowers continued in the same joyful palette of blush, coral, peach, yellow, blue and ivory, surrounded by greenery and glowing candlelight.
Instead of identical arrangements repeated throughout the room, the tables were designed with movement and variation, creating the feeling of a garden unfolding naturally across the reception.
Fresh citrus and grapes were incorporated among the florals, adding another layer of color and an almost European still-life quality to the tables.
Floating candles at varying heights brought warmth and romance to the room as evening approached.
