Nicole & Trevor | A Colorful Garden-Inspired Wedding at The Dallas Arboretum
A vibrant garden celebration at The Dallas Arboretum, followed by a romantic reception at A Tasteful Place, filled with expressive color, abundant florals, and thoughtfully layered details inspired by the surrounding gardens.
An expressive garden celebration filled with romantic color, abundant florals, and thoughtfully layered details inspired by the beauty of The Dallas Arboretum.
There are some venues that naturally become part of the floral story, and The Dallas Arboretum is one of them. Surrounded by established gardens, beautiful architecture, and layers of seasonal greenery, it created an inspiring setting for Nicole and Trevor’s colorful garden wedding in Dallas.
For their celebration, we wanted the floral design to feel as though it belonged within the gardens—romantic and abundant, but never overly structured. Rather than competing with the natural surroundings, each floral element was designed to complement them through color, texture, and organic movement.
Getting Ready at The Adolphus
Nicole’s bouquet was designed with the same organic sensibility that carried throughout the wedding.
A combination of romantic blooms, delicate textures, and trailing greenery created a bouquet with natural movement and an intentionally loose silhouette. The colors connected beautifully with the rest of the floral palette while allowing the bouquet to remain distinctly her own.
The personal flowers for the wedding party carried those same colors and textures in a more understated way, creating a cohesive look without making every bouquet feel identical.

A Romantic Palette Filled with Color
Following the ceremony, Nicole and Trevor’s celebration continued at A Tasteful Place at The Dallas Arboretum, where the reception design carried the vibrant garden palette into a fresh, light-filled setting. The surrounding views and modern architecture created a beautiful contrast to the organic movement and expressive color of the florals.
Throughout the reception, we layered garden-inspired centerpieces with romantic blooms, delicate textures, and touches of greenery, allowing each table to feel abundant while still maintaining an airy, natural quality. Candlelight added warmth and softness to the tablescape, while the colorful florals connected the reception back to the gardens just beyond the windows.
Every floral detail was designed to feel cohesive with the ceremony while giving the reception its own distinct atmosphere—romantic, welcoming, and filled with color.

A Reception at A Tasteful Place
Set against the natural beauty of The Dallas Arboretum, Nicole and Trevor’s ceremony florals were designed to feel like an extension of the surrounding gardens. Rather than creating a highly structured floral setting, we embraced an organic, garden-inspired approach with layers of seasonal blooms, delicate textures, and natural movement.
Color played an important role throughout the ceremony design, with romantic shades of blush, pink, peach, coral, ivory, and touches of blue woven among fresh greenery. The florals framed the ceremony while allowing the beauty of the garden to remain part of the experience, creating a setting that felt abundant, romantic, and naturally connected to its surroundings.
