Avery & Avery | A Romantic Garden-Inspired Wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms

A romantic garden-inspired wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms featuring soft blush, peach and ivory florals, fresh greenery, a lush floral ceremony arch, and an elegant reception filled with abundant floral details.

There is something timeless about a wedding filled with soft color, natural movement, and flowers that feel as though they belong in a beautiful garden.

For Avery and Avery’s wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms, we designed a romantic floral story centered around layers of blush, peach, ivory, and fresh green. From the ceremony aisle to the reception tables, every floral element was created to feel refined yet organic, bringing a European-inspired garden sensibility to the bright, airy setting of the venue.

A Romantic Garden Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony began with garden-inspired wedding florals lining the aisle, creating a beautiful progression toward the altar. Low, garden-style floral arrangements were placed along the ceremony aisle using a mixture of soft seasonal blooms and fresh greenery. Designed with natural movement and variation, the flowers created the feeling of a garden unfolding organically through the chapel.

At the altar, a lush floral ceremony arch became the focal point of the design. Created around the architecture of the chapel entrance, the installation featured layers of blush, peach, and ivory blooms with fresh greenery woven throughout.

Rather than covering the architecture, the floral design was created to complement it, framing the couple while allowing the beautiful white exterior of The Nest at Ruth Farms to remain part of the composition. The result felt romantic, abundant, and naturally gathered—a reflection of Vella Nest Floral Design’s European-inspired garden style.

Soft Blush, Peach & Ivory Wedding Flowers

The floral palette carried throughout this garden-inspired wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms, combining soft blush pink, warm peach, creamy ivory, and touches of fresh green. Garden roses, roses, hydrangea and other textural seasonal flowers created fullness while smaller blooms and greenery added movement and dimension.

Rather than making every arrangement identical, we allowed the color and flower placement to vary slightly from piece to piece. That variation is one of the details that gives garden-style floral design its natural, collected character.

Avery's bridal bouquet brought the palette together in a loose, romantic composition that complemented her gown without overwhelming it.

An Elegant Garden-Inspired Reception

Inside the reception space, the florals became a natural extension of the ceremony design, carrying the garden-inspired wedding aesthetic throughout the celebration.

Long tables were layered with low floral arrangements in shades of peach, blush, and ivory, interspersed with delicate bud vases and candlelight. Patterned linens introduced a subtle botanical detail while allowing the flowers to remain the focal point.

Round guest tables featured a combination of elevated floral arrangements and lower garden-style designs, creating variation in height and dimension throughout the reception. Fresh green linens provided a beautiful contrast to the softer floral palette, connecting the reception design to the romantic garden atmosphere of The Nest at Ruth Farms.

Together, the florals, candlelight, linens, and layered details created a reception that felt refined yet organic—an elegant interpretation of Vella Nest Floral Design’s European-inspired garden style.

Statement Florals for the Head Table

One of our favorite floral moments of the celebration was the couple’s head table. Designed as a focal point within the reception, an abundant floral installation flowed across the front and side of the table, creating the feeling of flowers growing naturally around it.

Layers of hydrangea, garden roses, roses, and delicate textural blooms brought softness, movement, and dimension while continuing the blush, peach, and ivory palette seen throughout the wedding.

Rather than treating the head table as a separate design moment, we wanted it to feel connected to the entire celebration—from the garden-inspired ceremony aisle and floral arch to the reception centerpieces.

That continuity is at the heart of our approach to full-service wedding floral design: creating individual floral moments that come together to tell one cohesive story.
